17 Jul We have finally started the first phase of post-production of the documentary: La Chana!
Thanks to your contributions we have finally started the first phase of post-production of the documentary!
To embark on making a feature documentary film in our times is truly an adventure.
We’re now in the first phase of post-production of the documentary film LA CHANA thanks to the moral and economic support we have received from a number of individuals over the past year. Along the way, we have met some strong and amazing women who have joined the project, bringing onboard their professionalism and passion, such as our co-producers Bless Bless and Cosmographe and our associate producers Deirdre Towers, Guri Scotford and Beatriz del Pozo. We have also been able to count on a wonderful and committed following, an audience who have encouraged the making of our project step by step.
Thanks to your contributions, we can now continue working and advancing the process of post-production of the documentary to bring to the screens La Chana’s universal story: the story of a courageous and persevering woman, a self-taught dancer, a tenacious professional who despite numerous obstacles in her path has managed to overcome them with bravery and grace.
Right now we are working with archive footage to be able to relay the dimension of La Chana’s career as a dancer. We would like to use sequences like this one from the film “The Bobo” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_ncu5ABntI
These images are very costly, and because of this, we decided to leave our Indiegogo campaign open for anyone who would still like to add their two cents to the project. Any additional contribution will help us to add artistic value to our film and will help us show La Chana’s ingenuity as a dancer when she was at the height of her career!
We encourage you to make a donation to help us cover the costs of the archive by following this IndiegogoInDemand link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/la-chana#/story
Thanks to all!
